This all-in-one unit is perfect for boats, RVs, cabins, alternative energy, backup and emergency power applications, and specialty vehicles. With 9 points of physical protection monitoring and a lightning-fast load and response time, the EVO-4024 provides optimum performance in various harsh environments.
AC Inputs
Utilize two independent AC inputs – one dedicated to grid (priority #1) and the other to generator (priority #2) – to seamlessly connect multiple power sources. No need to reconfigure the system when switching between sources.
Both inputs can be easily programmed for voltage and frequency according to user-set minimum and maximum thresholds, allowing for automatic switching from grid or generator to the inverter. Additionally, the generator start can be triggered by a "Status Relay" contact, and can be programmed to activate when the grid power is lost.
Solar Input
Integrate solar charging seamlessly into the EVO's power system by connecting a solar charge controller to the EVOTM through the Battery Charger external DC Input. ONLINE Mode prioritizes Batteries/Inverter over the grid, making it perfect for those looking to primarily use solar power (even when the grid is accessible but expensive).
Battery Charger
The Samlex America 4000 Watt Pure Sine Inverter/Charger EVO-4024 features 3 or 4 stage charging with the option for manual initiation of Equalization. During the Bulk stage, an adaptive algorithm is utilized to evaluate the battery's condition. This allows for subsequent stages to be determined by the battery's condition rather than predetermined time periods for Absorption and Float. This not only prevents unnecessary charging but also extends the lifespan of batteries. Additionally, the inverter/charger is programmable, allowing for the user to set battery voltage thresholds and initiate charging accordingly.
Transfer Switch
The Samlex America 4000 Watt Pure Sine Inverter/Charger EVO-4024 has an instant zero transfer time when switching from inverter to grid. This means that when the grid power comes on, the inverter synchronizes with the wave form and transfers immediately at the zero crossing point.
Additionally, when switching from grid to inverter, the transfer time is less than 16ms. If the grid power is lost, the transfer relay will seamlessly switch to the inverter at the appropriate point in the wave form in less than 16ms.
Surge Capacity (Power Boost)
The EVO-4024 boasts 3X surge power and ample overload allowances, making it ideal for sustained use. With a larger inverter capacity, you can reduce costs by selecting a smaller inverter that can handle heavy surge loads with ease.
State-of-the-Art Technology
The EVOTM runs at a lightning fast speed of 165 million instructions per second, providing quick response times. With its "Bullet-Proof Intelligence" consisting of 9 physical protection points, the EVOTM is highly durable. It continuously scans for any adverse conditions up to 10,000 times per second and has the ability to detect and prevent faults before any potential damage can occur.
For detailed performance data, the EVO-RC remote control (sold separately) can be used to capture all detected faults and their associated conditions. This data is conveniently stored on a removable 32GB SD Card for later analysis. The EVOTM also utilizes five temperature sensors throughout the unit to regulate its 2 speed controlled cooling fans, reducing unnecessary noise and energy consumption.
The Samlex America EVO-4024 is a powerful 4000 watt pure sine inverter/charger, providing a reliable 120 VAC output from a 24 VDC input. With a surge capacity of 12000 watts and a weight of 64 lbs (29 kg), this hardwired unit is designed for safety, with ETL safety certification and compliance with FCC Part 15(B) and RoHS standards. For added convenience, the optional EVO-RC remote control allows for easy operation. The dimensions of the inverter/charger are 12.79 x 16.77 x 8.15 in (325 x 426 x 207 mm).
This product is suitable for use in boats, RVs, trucks, and other specialty vehicles, as well as alternative energy, off-grid, cabins, remote locations, and areas with unreliable utility power. It is especially useful for back-up and emergency power applications.
