The Samlex EVO™ Series inverter/chargers combine a pure sine wave inverter, adaptive battery charger, and transfer relay into one powerful unit. Using state-of-the-art technology and 9 points of physical protection monitoring, this advanced off-grid power solution operates at 165 million instructions per second and can withstand a wide range of adverse environments.

The EVO-2212 model features a 2200 Watt pure sine inverter, 12 VDC input, and 120 VAC output with 50/60 Hz options. It also includes a 100 Amp 4 stage Battery Charger and a 40 Amp Transfer Relay for intelligent and affordable power integration. The EVO-2224 (24V input) and EVO-2212E (230 VAC output) models are also available.

The EVO-RC remote control is sold separately. Perfect for use in boats, RVs, cabins, specialty vehicles, alternative energy, back-up, and emergency power applications.

AC Inputs

This product allows for two separate AC inputs: one for grid power (priority #1) and one for a generator (priority #2). Both inputs can be connected simultaneously, eliminating the need for reconfiguration when switching between power sources. Each AC input is programmable for voltage and frequency, giving the user control over minimum and maximum thresholds for switching from grid or generator to inverter power. Additionally, the generator can be started through a "Status Relay" contact and can be programmed to activate in the event of grid loss.

Solar Input

Integrate solar charging into the EVO's power system by connecting a solar charge controller directly to the EVOTM via the Battery Charger external DC Input. The ONLINE Mode prioritizes Batteries/Inverter over the grid, making it perfect for those who want to primarily use solar power (while still having access to the grid, but at a potentially higher cost).

Battery Charger

This inverter/charger uses a 3 or 4 stage charging process, including Equalization (which must be manually initiated). An adaptive algorithm is employed during Bulk charging to evaluate the battery's condition. Subsequent stages are determined by the battery's condition, rather than set time periods for Absorption and Float charging. This helps prevent unnecessary charging and extends the lifespan of batteries. It is also programmable, allowing users to set battery voltage thresholds for charging initiation.

Transfer Switch

The inverter seamlessly switches between grid power and inverter power with zero transfer time. When the grid is restored, the inverter synchronizes with the wave form and switches instantaneously at the zero crossing point. In the event of a power outage, the transfer relay accurately switches to inverter power within 16 milliseconds.

Surge Capacity (Power Boost)

The Samlex America EVO-2212 Pure Sine Inverter/Charger is equipped with 3X surge power and generous overload allowances, allowing for extended periods of use. With increased inverter capacity, you can optimize your inverter size and save on costs, even for heavy surge loads.

State-of-the-Art Technology

The EVOTM boasts a lightning fast load and response time of 165 million instructions per second. It is designed to be virtually indestructible with "Bullet-Proof Intelligence" that includes 9 physical points of protection being scanned up to 10,000 times per second for potential hazards.

This advanced machinery is able to detect and address faults before any damage can occur. For a more thorough analysis, the EVO-RC remote control (available separately) can provide detailed performance data and record detected faults and their contributing conditions. With five temperature sensors strategically placed throughout the unit, the EVOTM is able to operate its 2 speed controlled cooling fans only when and where they are needed, reducing excessive noise and energy consumption. Additionally, data can be stored on a removable 32GB SD card (in the remote) for efficient resource usage analysis.

The input voltage for this product is 12 VDC, while the output is 120 VAC. With a wattage of 2200 Watts and a surge capacity of 6600 Watts, this inverter/charger is capable of powering multiple devices through its hardwired outlets.

Additionally, it comes equipped with an external fuse and the option of a remote control (EVO-RC). With a weight of 59 lbs (27 kg) and dimensions of 12.79 x 16.77 x 8.15 in (325 x 426 x 207 mm), this product meets strict safety standards and is EMI/EMC compliant.
