Adaptive Battery Charger Option for Lead Acid Batteries
This product features 6 customizable charging profiles, utilizing 2, 3, and 4 stages, including an Equalization Algorithm in the Bulk Stage to evaluate the battery's state. The following charging stages are determined by the battery's condition, not a predetermined time, minimizing overcharging and prolonging battery lifespan.
Transfer Switch
The inverter has zero transfer time when switching from the AC input source, as it synchronizes with the incoming wave form and transfers instantly at zero crossing without any interruption to the load.
Surge Capacity (Active Power Boost)
This inverter has a surge capability of three times its continuous power rating, making it capable of powering loads with high starting surges. It can also exceed its continuous power output by utilizing the Power Boost Allowances without causing an overload fault. This eliminates the need to upgrade to a larger inverter/charger for heavy surge loads, resulting in cost savings.
Solar Input
Utilize the EVO™'s Battery Charger External DC Input to link a solar charge controller (up to 50A) directly, while monitoring the external charging current to increase grid power availability for the load. ONLINE Mode allows for prioritization of Batteries/Inverter over the grid, making it ideal for those seeking primarily solar-powered operation, even in the presence of a costly grid.
State-of-the-Art Technology
The EVO™ features advanced protection monitoring that scans multiple physical points up to 10,000 times per second, capable of detecting any potential issues, both internal and external. As a nearly indestructible device, the EVO™ is designed to promptly identify and shut down in the event of a fault, preventing any potential damage.
AC Input / Output Option
EVO-1212F/1224F includes an AC Power Cord Inlet and Duplex GFCI outlet, while the hardwired versions, EVO-1212F-HW/1224F-HW, do not. For detailed performance data, the EVO™-RC-PLUS remote control (sold separately) can be used to collect information, which is then stored on a removable 16GB SD Card.
Advanced features allow for programming of various parameters and modes of operation. With a 4-row, 20-character alpha numeric LCD display, users can easily receive messages. The EVO™ utilizes five temperature sensors to regulate the operation of two speed-controlled cooling fans, minimizing unnecessary noise and energy consumption.
